Friday the 13th is almost here!

Ever wonder…. Where did the Spooky Friday the 13th tradition come from?

Most believe that is was started because of The mass arrest of the Knights Templar on Friday, October 13, 1307

It is often cited as the origin of the superstition. The Templars were imprisoned on many heinous charges, and then executed because the king wanted access to their treasures.

What about the Friday the 13th movie ?  The Friday the 13th movie was filmed in New Jersey in late 1979 in the towns of Hardwick, Blairstown, and Hope. Camp Crystal Lake is actually Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco is in Hardwick, New Jersey.  since 1927, it’s still a working camp and operating under the same name today. We were not able to dig up anything about Jason Voorhees, but there are many reports of paranormal sightings and strange happenings to campers on a daily basis. Whether you believe that it’s bad luck to do anything on Friday the 13th, or just don’t let a black cat cross your path on this day, it has definitely become a tradition to celebrate this day as a spooky , fun day that rivals Halloween. Are you ready for a Frightful , Festive Friday the 13th in December 2024?Join us on our Ghost hunt and dinner and A Ghost adventure!
